Through research, technology, and education, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees.

ISA membership not only serves the arborist at an individual through career advancement, but it also serves the profession on a global level by promoting proper tree care and research to consumers around the world. As a member of ISA, Jones Road Tree Service is part of a global organization helping making the world a better place, one tree at a time.

ISA Certified Arborist

In addition to ISA membership, Jones Road Tree Service is recognized as having an ISA Certified Arborist on staff:

David Mauk
ISA Certified Arborist TX-4214A

Certified Arborists are individuals in the tree care industry who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by leading experts on tree care. Certified Arborists must also continue their education to maintain their certification and adhere to a Code of Ethics. Therefore, they are more likely to be up to date on the latest techniques in arboriculture.

Becoming an ISA Certified Arborist is a voluntary process through which individuals can measure their knowledge and competence required to provide proper tree care. ISA Certification is not government-sponsored or government-endorsed; it is administered by the International Society of Arboriculture as a way for tree care professionals to demonstrate their commitment to the profession and the industry.

SCA

Society of Commercial Arboriculture

SCA is the largely considered the premiere organization for individuals working in commercial and residential arboriculture throughout the world.  SCA provides educational opportunities to individuals improving their practice of commercial and residential arboriculture and encourages the exchange of ideas and information related to commercial arboriculture.

The Tree Care Industry Association requires that all CTSPs complete an extensive training program, and must pass a safety-related exam.  In addition, all CTSPs are required to complete 30 continuing education credits, which includes ongoing safety training, teaching safety classes, writing articles for publication in industry magazines, and more.

This certification means that Jones Road Tree Service is committed to maintaining the highest level of safety on all of our job sites.  There is no job too big or too small to complete safely.
