Tree trimming or pruning is one of the most common procedures
of professional tree service companies. Each branch that is removed
or not removed has the potential to change how a tree
grows. With this in mind, a branch should not be removed without
a good reason. There are three main reasons to prune a tree:
Safety - Examples include dead wood over a roof
or raising a tree's crown that interferes with a driver's line
of sight.
Tree Health - Examples include the removal of
diseased and/or dying limbs or crown thinning to increase light
and wind penetration throughout the crown. In many cases, the
removal of some branches by thinning can relieve excessive weight
on major branches.

Our arborists dismantle trees using the latest techniques to
assure an effective job. A typical tree removal includes brush
chipping and hauling away all logs. Stumps can be ground or cut
depending on stump location and the customer's preference. We
are fully insured for your protection.
Stump grinding is the safest and most effective way to remove
a tree stump. We normally grind stumps 6 to 12 inches below the
ground surface and also cut away any visible surface roots. In
special circumstances, we can grind stumps 2 to 3 feet below grade
with a tractor mounted stump grinder.
Jones Road Tree Service LLC has a certified arborist on staff
to assist our clients with sick and declining trees. We can send
our arborist to your location to discuss tree health care options
including deep root fertilization, air spading to reduce soil
compaction and pesticides. Our certified arborist is licensed
through the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas.

We work with reputable local nurseries and provide turnkey tree
plantings. Some of our popular new tree plantings include red
oak, magnolia, post oak, live oak, maple, Mexican fan palm, and
queen palm trees. When planting new trees, it is important to
remember that soil characteristics including soil structure, water
holding capacity and water/air/nutrient availability, greatly
affect each tree species differently. Jones Road Tree Service
recommends checking the soil's pH, salinity, nutrients and drainage
prior to planting new trees in order to select the proper tree
for the project.
Before you build on a site with existing trees, Jones Road Tree
Service LLC recommends writing a formal plan to protect your trees.
We can prescribe bio-stimulants, tree barricading with chain link
fencing and/or air spading to fight soil compaction caused by
the construction process. The tree plan should be provided to
all subcontractors at your job site.
Storms may cause limbs or entire trees to fall and land on homes,
